What Our Student's Say

This is a testimony of a Ghanaian nurse, Patricia Amponsah working with United Methodist Nursing Services (dba Chicago Methodist Senior Services – CMSS) and her experience, work, salaries etc

Our Process

We have the NCLEX program for nurses and Care Givers program for all health workers. Whichever program you choose, we have the complete preparatory program to prepare you for the appropriate certification and credentialing exams. We have a hybrid 12 – 15 weeks NCLEX preparatory course for Nurses and for Care Givers as well as an IELTS preparatory course.

Our NCLEX Preparatory Program

Our 12 – 15 weeks NCLEX preparatory course comes as a hybrid program. It is largely online (about 80% of it is completely online) and in-person (about 20% of it is in-person).

It is broken down into weekly bite-size program. You will commence each week with an Assessment Test online proctored from our exams center. There is also end-of the week or end-of-topic Test Drill and Assessment Tests.

Passing the NCLEX has been the standard requirement for aspiring registered nurses and licensed practical nurses in the United States since 1994. Out of over 250,000 NCLEX-RN and more than 60,000 NCLEX-PN test-takers in 2020, the pass rates were 72.35% and 70.89%, respectively. These passers include 83.88% of NCLEX-RN and 82.74% of NCLEX-PN first-time takers. Effective study methods can increase your chances of passing the NCLEX on the first try.

Flexible scheduling and adaptable formats

Our NCLEX and Care Givers program (test prep) has been designed to be able to fit around your existing schedule. It is flexible in scheduling and self-paced courses and that are delivered via multiple formats, such as live online classes, on-demand online classes, and in-person instruction.

Personalized instruction available

Personalized instruction enhances your learning experience and can help you improve your chances of passing the NCLEX and scoring high. We offer customizable learning aids and/or a personal tutor that can help address your areas of improvement.

Next Generation NCLEX Exams

The Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) is an updated version of the NCLEX that will further assess nursing candidates’ abilities to apply clinical judgment skills and make safe, effective decisions. It will include new question types and case sets that are mapped to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) Clinical Judgment Measurement Model. NGN will be administered starting in April 2023.

Passing the Exams

To pass the NCLEX-RN, you have to demonstrate that your level of competency is above the minimum standard. As you answer questions correctly, you’ll be given increasingly difficult questions, and you will need to work your way up in difficulty so the NCLEX-RN algorithm can identify your passing-level competency with 95% confidence. Answering questions correctly will require both nursing content knowledge and critical thinking skills; at Kaplan, we recommend you study with a mix of content, strategy, and practice.
